We say: This oil burner has a rough unglazed finish, apart from the bowl, which is glazed in a lovely crackle-blue. You would normally place some water in the top bowl, light the candle beneath (tea light) and then tip a few drops of your chosen essential oil onto the water. Then as the water heats, the fragrance of the oils is released gently into the room.
This burner comes with one tea light candle.
