The title for this CD is so apt. It is an hour of lovely, gentle and relaxing music. It is, it must be said, not just a flow of dreamy nothingness that is characteristic of some 'new age music'. It is a more complex development of harmony and melody that has a beginning, a middle and an end. With keyboards, recorders and vocals combined there is within this CD a tantalising atmospheric conjuring up of ideas and feelings that is sublime. It stirs the imagination as well as being able to provide the same kind of instrumental journey that comes from classical music.

This CD meets several criteria. It does not try to be other-worldly but seeks to evoke the best feelings about the natural world. It tries to keep something of a structure of a developing symphony without being imprisoned by older formats. It is experimental without being weird.

The big test for any CD is in its usage. Well, I have used this myself to wind down after a working day and I find it most effective. I have used it. There must be something negative that can be said about it but I have yet to find anything to say that is not positive. I simply recommend it to anyone who loves peaceful music of good quality, something that Llewellyn always manages to provide.
