Mysts is a delightfully dreamy CD, which echoes the mysts of the title. It is harmonious, relaxing and perfect to chill out to. It also has some lovely upbeat tracks such as 'through the mysts', which perhaps are not suitable for quiet meditation. As this CD washes over me I feel refreshed and inspired, it has a sense of joy, of adventure and of wonderment.

Inspired by Marion Zimmer Bradley’s 'Mysts of Avalon' this is a CD that will put you in mind of Arthurian legend, Glastonbury Tor rising from the mist, and of the essence of the magical Avalon.

Merlyn and the Crossing is a haunting, otherworldly, ethereal track, but my favourite track has to be Silver Moon Woods, a mix of piano, harp and synthesiser which creates within my imagination a grove flooded with the silvery light of the full Moon. It is such a soft track, full of magic and mystery. There is a recurrent melody here that sounds like the moonlight dancing around the wood.

Melodious, magical and mesmerising!
