They say: Lisa Lynne's debut album with New Earth Records is a graceful and powerful recording of authentic beauty. Together with an ensemble of world class Renaissance and Persian musicians, she brings her Celtic harp and exquisite musicianship to these enchanting arrangements of centuries-old tunes. An album of ageless music performed with an original and contemporary flair.

In her early days as a bass player in a heavy metal band, Lisa Lynne and her friends used to jump the fence of Renaissance fairs to play elfin arrangements of Iron Maiden tunes on their mandolins. At one fair, Lisa spotted her first Celtic harp. She describes the experience as 'Love at first sound - love at first touch. I could already play it - it played me, really.'

We say: This music reminds me of Ireland. Not that I have any great experience of Ireland. But I have heard Celtic and Irish music. It reminds me of Celtic musical background to a powerful Irish film about love, pride and struggle. It is the sort of music you can imagine someone walking across the hills by themselves thinking wistfully back on all the people in their lives, loving them, but also knowing that fundamentally they will always be alone.

It's full of atmosphere and character. The moods do change from quite uplifting to melancholy and to very gentle and relaxing. It's really a Celtic album first, harp album second. It's not just Lisa Lynne strumming away on her harp, it is much more than that. Generally I think if you are into Celtic, atmospheric music, you will love this.

This is my first foray into Celtic inspired music which is hard to believe as I'm Irish! I listened to the clips of the music first to get an idea of how Lisa Lynne sounds and thought 'Yeah that's cool'.

A great album for chilling out to. I will try meditating as well next time I listen.
