They say: It seems there are two hearts beating in my chest. One with the slow waves of silence and meditation, the other celebrating the infinite colours of this existence. "Mystery Road" celebrates the colours of life, like a rainbow of different flavours in sound, a kaleidoscope of all the influences that I experience. In this age of information so many
different cultures, technologies, arts, tastes, and sights touch me! Travelling through Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia, movies, the Internet, TV, friends, teachers, Gurus, madmen and women: its all like the mysterious weaving of countless roads that merge inside of me. Something resonates, and is expressed in sound: a journey on the "Mystery Road"!

By Kathleen, Wrexham It’s been a while since I’ve heard something that resonates so strongly with me and my heart immediately opened up on hearing Kamal’s Mystery Road. Listening to it felt like being on holiday, absorbing the essence of different cultures whilst simultaneously feeling like I was coming home. The style reminds me of the band Enigma, with lots of chanting in the background on many of the tracks. The CD is generally upbeat throughout and consistent in quality and appeal. I found it to have an underlying peacefulness to it, yet also an uplifting effect that felt like soul nourishment. Mystery Road is a mixture of electronic and traditional instruments such as flute, violin, acoustic guitar and bass. The violin in 'Those Flying Days' was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes, so it may be a good CD to listen to for anyone wanting to release emotions. I listened to Mystery Road whilst I had a reiki session, not my normal choice of music for a therapy session but I thought it might be interesting to experience. I found that whilst I was relaxing my spirit was dancing round the room to it! In that sense it might be a good CD to use during healing for someone who was seeking to be energised. This CD I would imagine to be good for anyone who loves to dance – even if it’s only in the living room! This is now a definite favourite of mine, if you like the two sound clips that you hear on here, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
