A bind rune is a symbol that combines two or more runic letters superimposed on one another to create a meaning that combines the two runic energies. It is not unusual to use runes in this way and jewellery and amulets were and still are often worn as a symbol as we seek to develop certain aspects of ourselves.
The two rune symbols combined in this pendant are:
Gebo (seventh rune X): Is a rune that often indicates a partnership whether emotional or of another kind. The X symbol is also often seen as a sacred mark linking the people and the Gods.
Perdhro (fourteenth rune): Is a rune that relates to that which is hidden and to occult abilities. The energy that this rune represents gives access to our inner worlds and also gives more connection to the energetic workings of the nature and of the spirit worlds.
As bind rune Gebo and Perdhro form a symbol that states our intention to better access and form a permanent partnership with our own deeper, intuitive, and psychic selves. These are parts of ourselves that are quite natural but often we are not as aware of them as we may like.
