Born to Heal
Review (last 5 for this product, read more)

By Vernon Marshall View ProfileThis is a lovely book that manages, despite its mere 246 pages, to accomplish several tasks. Firstly, it is something of an autobiography. It tells the story of the extraordinary life and development of a man who was born into sickness but who made his life into something exceptional and became one of the most successful spiritual healers of our generation. Secondly, it is the conveying of insight and wisdom concerning our own health and perception of it from someone who has years of experience in dealing with ill health. Thirdly, for others who have sought to develop their own healing skills, this book examines different techniques for dealing with various conditions and situations.
The style of writing in this book is simple and direct. The theory is never allowed to overwhelm the reader as it is full of illustrations from the writer's own healing career. It gives a fascinating insight into the motivation that drives someone to give so much to so many. There is also extra material on the use of vitamins and minerals, techniques for absent healing, the reality of the spirit world, and strategies for self-healing. Within these pages is discovered a very human and warm-hearted individual who has been the source of inspiration for many and yet who humbly accepts his talent as merely the vehicle for something greater working through him. He was known to Harry Edwards, the most famous healer of modern times, and, in Tony Hogan, we have someone else who has needfully carried the torch for the power of healing. I very strongly recommend this book to anybody with an interest in healing in any way.
