A Witch Alone
Review (last 5 for this product, read more)

By Cate Gardner View Profile'A Witch Alone' ' Marian Green - Thirteen moons to master natural magic - A practical handbook At over 50,000 copies sold, 'A guide to the tradition of the solo village witch' has been an inspiration to many. Those who are new to 'The Craft' and those more experienced who still find the writings of Marian Green so refreshing. Marian Green is a no-nonsense Witch and her books are a guide, not a 'Bible'. In 'A Witch Alone' she provides the reader with the bare bones of the 'Path' and then takes them on a voyage of discovery to find the essence.
Personally I'd recommend that this book be one of the first, if not the first choice for anyone setting out on a Pagan expedition, because all the leg-work can be done alone. It is a book as much for finding out about oneself as anything and by the end of the thirteen-moon cycle the reader will have completed a whole year of exploration in both the outer and inner realms. I found that it really does help if you read this book and then read it again over the full thirteen moons practicing the exercises within each chapter.
