These 48 cards are absolutely beautiful. They are packaged in a lovely flip-top box making for ease of use, and the colours throughout the deck are romantic, warm, rich and uplifting. The cards are easy to handle, shuffle, lay out and pick up. Each one is roughly the size and shape of a square coaster (and would make beautiful talking points if used as such!), and on one side of the card is a painted image with a few descriptive words, such as 'Be generous with your love' or 'Cultivate Wisdom', and on the reverse is a fuller explanation or words of guidance. The images include flowers, animals, people and activities, and I feel would appeal to those of all ages and both sexes.

I've very much enjoyed working with these cards, whether in simply choosing one each day to focus on, or to work with using a simple 3 spread concentration on what my mind, heart and soul says about a particular issue I'm concerned with. The cards are based on a book by Miguel Angel Ruiz with the same title, 'The Mastery of Love', and although they were not accompanied by an instruction booklet, there is a card in the box with a message from the author, in which he hopes 'you use these cards to restore the spirit of playfulness that is vital to loving relationships'. I am certain these cards will aid anyone with that intention, they really are lovely.
