I was not sure what to expect before I received these cards. When I opened the box I was a little disconcerted to find that there was no explanatory booklet to help me to use the cards most effectively. They are made of a substantial weight of card and should be quite hardwearing. Without the expected guidance, I attempted to use the cards in a similar way to my Angel Cards - which I use for daily inspiration - by shuffling them and selecting the card or cards I felt drawn to. However the size of these cards does not make shuffling and selection comfortable or easy and they would need to be spread out on a suitable surface before selection. The cards are multi-coloured, with bright and attractive images on both sides, and it may well be the colours/images, which attract the user to a particular card - this of course does not mean that the appropriate message would not be selected at any time. I decided to approach using the cards by reading each one, on both sides, working my way through the whole pack. The cards contain some very inspiring quotes on one side with affirmations on the other side and they are all designed to be positive and uplifting. This method of use is really more like reading a book, but the messages on the selected cards can provide a positive start to one's day.
