Art Nouveau Tarot - CARDS
Review (last 5 for this product, read more)

By Brett Almond View ProfileThe first thing that strikes you about these cards is the rich variety of colour they contain. Colour is also used to distinguish between suits. For example the pentacles uses very earthy, green lush colours, while the cups have a predominance of turquoise and blues. This makes it even more noticeable in readings as to whether a certain suit is trying to grab your attention.
The pictures are all strongly painted, and it is clear that a lot of time has been spent on each card by the artist. There are a lot people and couples throughout the both major and minor arcana, and in the major arcana and court cards the people are more detailed. This is a deck I feel many will find just what they are looking for, especially those who relate better to people and depicted situations rather than symbols. In all, good colours, good painting and a refreshing approach.

By Cate Gardner View ProfileI find these cards are always accurate when giving readings for matters of the heart. They are richly colourful reminiscent of stained glass windows and the Court Cards seem to have been based on real people. They are a very emotive deck, try looking at the card representing the six of swords and you'll see what I mean. This card really does scream 'depression' with a wish to put both spiritual and physical space between the querent and a situation. I like these cards particularly because they 'do not pull their punches', they tell it how it is not how you'd like it to be.
