I have previously enjoyed using Doreen’s Angel cards, but this new set, which includes saints and guardian angels, really seems to have a special quality to it. I feel as though these cards are truly inspirational.
I hadn’t really given much thought to saints before, other than hearing of St. Christopher and St. Francis of Assissi in passing. I had occasionally thought of Joan of Arc, though I hadn’t realised she is a saint. These three, along with St. Mother Theresa, are included in the seventeen saints depicted, with the other 27 cards showing guardian angels and figures such as Mother Mary and Christ.
Each card has a heading such as Marriage, Heaven is Watching over you, Animals, Higher Education, Learning Experience, Be Brave, along with the beautiful artwork forming most of the colourful cards, and a footer giving the name of the saint, or revealing the guardian angel associated with the heading.
The accompanying booklet provides wonderful explanations for each card, suggesting why the topic may have relevance for the reader, along with a short biography of the saint or religious person depicted, and how they are connected with the words in the card’s heading. In Doreen’s introduction, she explains that the names of saints were compiled from her book readers’ suggestions, many of whom expressed that they are not Catholic people but love to connect with saints. Dorreen suggests that the cards will benefit people from any spiritual or religious background and that saints connect with people regardless of their lack of, or strong, religious belief.

I use them all the time for personal guidance. The illustrations on the cards are very beautiful, I would reccommend these cards to anyone who requires some spiritual guidance.
