By Rainbow mum View ProfileThis is a very accessible book for both those who wish to start working with angels in every aspect of their life and for those who seek further direction. The book covers diverse subject matters, each one of which, is worthy of an entire book devoted to it. Given that it seeks to cover such a wide range of subjects, it does so very well. Not only is there a wealth of information and advice, but there are potted case studies from Virtue's clients to illustrate the points made. Particularly useful are the prayers and invocations to help resolve particular problems, such as family or personal relationships and there is a wealth of help for spiritual matters such as discovering your life purpose, manifesting and dealing with past life issues. I found particularly helpful the chapter devoted to spiritual safety and find myself frequently referring to the section on number sequences as a means of angelic communication. In fact, writing this review was a great chance to reacquaint myself with this book in its entirety.

This book weaves in and out of these issues, bringing in a great deal of examples from real people and the advice the angels have give to Doreen Virtue during readings. The style and presentation of the writing is very personable and respectful to the reader, always trying to empower them, and make them feel they can really be a part of this world of angels. It differs from say the Messages from your Angels book in that Messages from your Angels is instantly recognisable as a book of angel advice on many topics, whereas this seems to be more a weaving together of various bits of advice, facts and true experiences.
For example in Chapter 8 on 'How the Angels Help Us in the Material World' the sub-headings read Easing your way, The Energy of your possessions, Psychometry, Clearing your Space, Manifesting a Home, Shopping with the Angels, Be careful what you ask for and The Angels heal mechanical items. It just seems to cover a lot of ground, which I don't think is a bad thing, it is just an observation.......more
