Diana Cooper is probably best known for her 'angel cards', but you may also know her from other writing or from the excellent workshops that she sometimes runs. If you haven't made it to one of the workshops, which are truly mind-blowing, her books are the next best thing. I do recommend, however, that you allow yourself a quiet undisturbed weekend, to fully enjoy and assimilate the insights that she offers. Anything less would not do this book justice, and you owe it to yourself.

You may remain unconvinced by Diana's account of her experiences, and her interactions with her spirit guide, Kumeka. But it would be hard to read this book and remain untouched by its power. Those who begin to work in the way that Diana Cooper suggests describe themselves as lightworkers, and discover a new focus in their lives, which emphasises the planet (as a spiritual entity in its own right) and its needs. There is a knock-on effect from this approach to life in our personal lives, and Diana Cooper explores this in some depth.

It is easy to look at the list of Masters and dismiss Cooper's work as so much mumbo-jumbo, but this book and the philosophy and disciplines it suggests can be accepted without going that far. This is one of those books that can be taken to wherever you are comfortable, and if you cannot go all the way with the author, you will still find that it has made a difference in your life.
