As anyone who has read her book Discover Atlantis will know, Diana writes with supreme confidence and certainty about all aspects of Atlantis. The front of each one of these new oracle cards has a delicate colour picture at its centre by Damian Keenan and two paragraphs by Diana Cooper on the reverse. In the first paragraph Diana describes the historical Atlantan background to the subject of the picture. In the second paragraph she gives details of the card’s meaning for the person choosing the card.
Each card is about a different aspect of Atlantis. e.g. The Sphinx, The Crystal Skulls, Unicorns, Pools of Energy, Divine Essence and The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Although there is a 45th card which gives some very basic instructions for reading the cards, there is no instruction booklet with this deck. This is probably because both of the two authors feel that the deck is best interpreted as simply as possible. ie. You choose a card either at random or because the picture appeals to you and then you read the text on the reverse, prior to meditating for a few minutes on the picture.
This oracle deck will appeal to anyone who collects oracle cards and to all those who are interested in Atlantis and its many fascinating legends.
