John Edward has many fans worldwide and this CD will doubtless serve to further enhance his reputation as a knowledgeable and sensitive medium.

The CDs cover two topics under one title, Psychic Awareness and Development and later Protection.

The Psychic Awareness disc is commendable, the easy introduction over we are taken on what amounts to a guided meditation and visualisation. The exercise begins with simple breathing techniques. The meditation is very well done and there are no difficult unguided steps, the visualisation is quite easy and is chakra based with colour fields, and we move eventually to a psychic room. There are steps to remove negativity and placements in the room for the listener. Returning is easy and similarly guided; there is a strong sense of calm and control throughout. There is a second meditation and this takes us to the same place more quickly, the potential here is the same. When one is used to the psychic room one can of course simply go straight there switching straight to whichever method one prefers, the fast way or the slow way, both are as valid.

The Protection CD begins in quite an interesting way with illustrations about energy fields and how we use other people to replenish our own low energy fields. To those unfamiliar with this I would suggest this information is very valuable. We are shown the processes that occur within familiar scenarios. We are given useful simple affirmations to provide protection under everyday circumstances. There is a very protracted section about house cleansing, this has a good deal of repetition and I found uninteresting, in fact the house cleanse is not really a practical option either.
