They say: We all have psychic skills that are revealed when we act on a hunch or follow a gut feeling to make a decision. These instinctive abilities come from our deep inner knowledge about what is best for us - our intuitive nature.
By the time we reach adulthood, many of us have become detached from our natural intuitive sense. However, by following the practices in this book, you will learn ways to awaken your long-dormant psychic skills and apply these abilities to everyday situations at home, at work, in relationships, during travel, in dreams, and in predicting the future.
Recapturing your psychic abilities will make life easier and more fun. You will have more confidence in your decisions and, most importantly, you will learn to trust in your own innate knowledge of the world.

By Vernon Marshall View ProfileThis is what I would call a "coffee table book". It is a book where no white pages are to be found and almost every (thick) page adorned with pretty coloured pictures. A book of only 130 pages it is more or less an introduction to the use of personal intuition. It is certainly not a long read and each subject is covered very quickly. In just a few pages, for example, nine different forms of divination are dealt with.
Having said all that, it is a useful book for those who have never considered for themselves whether or not they have any psychic skills. Included in the work are plenty of things to practice. At the end of a chapter or section there is a list of practices to enable the reader to test out their skills or to develop them. These include, for example, types of meditation and different types of dowsing. I suggest that all the skills mentioned in the book are meant to whet the appetite, or to give an opportunity for the reader to check out which skill is the one on which to focus and which can then be followed up more intensely.
It is a lovely book to give as a present. So long as the reader is unversed in the world of mantic studies then this could be an enjoyable book to read. For those who have even a basic knowledge in the subjects covered in this book then it is insufficiently detailed to bring satisfaction.
