Adventures of a Psychic
Review (last 5 for this product, read more)

By Gilly Sandford-Bates View ProfileWhen I picked up this book and read the title, my immediate thought was 'what a tacky title' and this view was further reinforced when I read the inside page, 'Psychic to the Rescue' - it shouted: 'Psychic Enid Blyton' and I rightly assumed its American influence. However, we must not judge a book by its cover (although it's hard not too). It charts the life of Sylvia Browne who is, I have since discovered, acclaimed to be America's most famous and successful, internationally renowned, clairvoyant.
Her story makes fascinating reading. She tells of the bewilderment and fear she experienced as a child when first coming to terms with her psychic abilities and the way in which she was perceived by others and how she battled with soul survival. It documents the implications that these had in shaping the direction of her life from young adult to where she is now. This book though, is not just an autobiography. Dependent on your individual beliefs, she is able to answer all of the questions with very detailed description of the way of life on the 'other side' and what to expect when we pass over. She answers questions on 'why am I here'? explains our life blueprint and the various life themes that we adopt throughout our brief period in this dimension. She talks about reincarnation and spirit guides - giving seemingly credible answers to those questions that we would all love to have an answer to. If you have a fear of dying and life carrying on without you, this book will assuage your fears. It makes some very profound statements and certainly offers food for thought.
