I think that someone fairly new to spiritualism would get a lot out of this book, as most of the exercises are fairly basic and would probably be a good way to open your mind in a simple and gentle manner. Although that said, I still found many of the exercises enlightening and interesting and certainly worth trying, even though I’ve experienced similar ideas in other books. The exercises take you on a journey from recognizing your energy centres to discovering your power symbol, and are all written in a very inspiring and patient manner. All through the book, Rosemary Altea, talks to you as a friend, never becoming too complex that you lose her meaning, or too long winded that you want to give up. Even if you don’t fancy the idea of following her exercises, this book is worth a read for the stories she has to tell, which I found both inspiring and captivating.
