Reiki (30) - Gentle spiritual healing therapy
Reiki is a gentle energetic, spiritual healing therapy. “Rei” means “unseen” or “spiritual” and “Ki” means “energy” or “life force”. This is often translated as “Universal Life Energy”. The system was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century after three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama. Energy flows through the hands to the “patient” or recipient in such a way that the givers energy is not depleted. The therapist keys into the universal energy, not necessarily their own individual energy. This universal energy is seen as intelligent and will heal the patient’s energy field without exact diagnosis. Treatment can be used on people, on yourself, pets and distance healing. The system often uses “attunement” where people are attuned so that they may also give this type of healing. Often symbols are used to help key into certain aspects of this healing art.

He has arranged small sections of music, some of which will doubtless be recognised much as a patchwork quilt of sound. There is great breadth in the colour of his music and the energies he brings to us are of gentle nature healing and of comfort.
The melodies shift from one to another every few minutes to assist healers towards changing healing positions this is perfectly seamless and undertaken with great skill.
I find his manner of introducing different tone, resonance and emphasis of sound of great use it is perfect for healing and meets purpose fully.
There are brought into the whole many and varied aspects of musical panorama. It brings me to feels almost as if I stand upon a hilltop and view the landscape before me I am drawn to look to the stars to wonder at the moon and her consorts and in this stance of simply being part of the music I become allowed to become of vision towards the seasons to witness the changing landscape of colour as a mosaic and in this each stone becomes a separate breath of his music.
This is a really delightful Healing Journey and Llewellyn as ever the master conducts us with great care and perfection.
This is a truly precious offering and I can highly recommend this cd as being as great use for those engaged as healers and also for those who step into aspects of meditation or relaxation.
By Nadine, London Excellent! I have used LLewellyn's Reiki Healing Journey CD while I did my reiki treatments on clients, as well as for my own self-healing. I'd found it very relaxing and well put together - one song fuses into the next song very well. I particularly liked the 3-minute song duration aspect as this enabled me to be able to keep focused on my reiki treatment rather than on the time!
By Laura, Stoke This is a wonderful CD, I'm very impressed with how each 3 minute track gently blends into the next so that you know when it's time to move on to the next chakra but the person recieving reiki doesn't notice any abrupt change in the music. A lovely CD, I really reccommend it.
By Nicole, Lancashire Im listening to the cd as I write this. It's really lovely. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, when doing my Reiki treatments, but I know it will be great to use. All the songs are gentle and relaxing so I will use this cd for other treatments as well.
