They say: Flowing from the power of the Immortal Ancestors, Llewellyn's music has been scored with deep sympathy and understanding of the culture of American Indians' music. Guided by Red Eagle (Guardian Spirit), he spent a year collecting the rare instruments and delicate sounds that he would need to create 'Healing Spirit' in all its moments of light and shade.

Featuring authentic Navajo chants, bamboo and redwood flutes with rainsticks and skindrums, he evokes this magic for all. From his reclusive home in rural Hertfordshire Liewellyn has worked by moonlight to create the atmosphere that he sought.

By Len Leaper View Profile
This is both a unique and interesting arrangement offered by Llewellyn.‘Healing Spirit’ manages to blend in a seamless manner sounds that conspire towards a depth of presence, that seems to live on the breath of the instruments and spoken voice. This truly is a CD of considerable breadth and authority Navajo chants appear and interchange with flutes and drums the music rises and falls as a river finding her way through canyons and plain alike.
The seasons appear to me as I listen the winter snow and summer forest sing their way through the songs of Life as I feel and the links with Native American Culture are clear and deep as so the calling of the sun and moon. The music is poetic, lyrical, evocative and emotional it touches the soul and reaches beyond and within the life of present day man. It is of past of legacy and of great beauty.
This I feel is a wonderful accomplishment by Llewellyn and a tribute towards what lives in the heart of the many who step to the drum of the Navajo.
